Head of IT Support & Infrastructure Logistics (m/f/d) in Bernburg

Your future area of responsibility:

• Management and strategic orientation of the IT support and infrastructure team at the logistics site in Bernburg
• Responsibility for the performance and results of the team as well as the coordination of shift planning and work tasks.
• Work closely with warehouse control center management to ensure logistics infrastructure operations and system interfaces.
• Prioritize and assign work orders and monitor progress.
• Analyzing system effectiveness and conducting evaluations to improve infrastructure.
• Leading IT projects and supporting logistics projects with an infrastructure focus, including customizing solutions, performing IT tests and rollouts.
• Testing and validating hardware and software configurations and reviewing technical requirements.
• Monitor and report on system performance and capacity to ensure operational requirements are met
• Developing improvement proposals and driving knowledge management within the team and organization
• Building close relationships with upstream and downstream process participants, such as material flow teams and SAP ERP teams.
• Implement and manage policies and processes to optimize team collaboration and work structure
• Adjust work plans and priorities in coordination with other departments to address operational challenges
• Contribute to budget development and ensure departmental targets are met.

Your profile for the position Head of IT Support & Infrastructure Logistics (m/f/d):

• You are an expert with extensive experience in the support and operation of IT infrastructure systems, ideally in the logistics environment.
• You have in-depth knowledge of the core functionalities of IT infrastructure systems, especially in connection with logistics processes and customer-specific requirements
• You have a comprehensive understanding of the logistics system landscape and the integration of IT systems, especially in the connection of downstream systems
• Experience in analyzing processes and the relevant technical infrastructure is desirable.
• Your analytical skills as well as your structured and solution-oriented way of working enable you to work in interdisciplinary teams and support complex root cause analyses and solution development.
• Basic knowledge in the analysis of radio systems (radio frequency technology) is an advantage.
• You work independently, proactively and take responsibility for your tasks. Your experience in project management and your strong communication skills set you apart.
• You have more than 6 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a management position with personnel responsibility.
• A Bachelor's degree or comparable qualification in IT is desirable.
