YOUR FUTURE ROLE

The ISBN Technology Consultant (f/m/d) is accountable for driving initiatives with the SAP Cloud Solutions to automate their buying processes and drive collaborative commerce with their vendors. The Consultant's responsibilities include the implementation of the SAP Procurement Solution to the customer’s business applications, in the majority of cases SAP ERP and SAP Ariba application.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consult customers on e-commerce cloud procurement solutions which include SAP ERP, Ariba, Fieldglass and extension to Non-SAP applications
• Drive customer’s Procurement Technology stream to achieve successful and on-time deployment
• Good experience in supporting Services sales
• Advise customers on creative and flexible solutions to speed deployment and ultimately Technology to drive their business
• Lead and facilitate customer Technology sessions to identify and document customer requirements
• Ability to manage multiple projects across different programs liaising with key functional areas
• Responsible for driving Architecture design workshops and collaborating with multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
• Coordinate and manage testing process with customers from engagement to deployment
• Lead and influence resources that impact success, including management and delegation of tasks to other teams/individuals when necessary
• Handling escalations, providing consulting support for ad-hoc requests and helping hand to the services sales team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• University education
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT Consulting, preferably SAP Development or Consulting
• Ability to work in a multi-functional team environment and influence others that impact success
• Experience creating and leading the workshops for the project-related work with customers, leadership and team members.
• Experience with SAP ERP or S/4 HANA, SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass and Business technology platform (BTP)
• Understanding of Operational and Strategic Procurement Process

YOUR PROFILE

• Experience in SAP Procurement Cloud products and solutions and sound knowledge of SAP Procurement Delivery strategy and processes
• Experience in strategic thinking and conceptual design of complex projects & programs
• Experience in customer interaction and good presentation skills
• Experience in leading virtual teams cross-border
• Communication skills in the German and English language is a must
• Experience in decision-making within own area of responsibility/project
• Knowledge of SAP ACTIVATE methodology and Supply chain domain is a plus
• Job needs 30-50% travel to EMEA locations.

The ISBN Technology Team is an EMEA team responsible for technical delivery under the ISBN portfolio catering to Ariba Operational Procurement, Ariba Strategic Procurement, SAP Ariba Network, Central procurement, Central Invoice Management Fieldglass and IES. We are a Consulting team that provides exposure to leading customers with a focus on customer success and innovations.
