Senior Construction Claims Manager

Senior Construction Claims Manager - Germany - 18 month contract

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global pharmaceutical client based in the surroundings of Germany. Due to a large capital investment and multiple projects on site, the client is looking for a Senior Construction Claims Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities include:

1. Mix between project controls and construction management.
2. Responsible for capex projects and experience leading teams.
3. Claim review: 70% of the day.
4. Managing various claims from suppliers.
5. Contracts management: 30% of the day.
6. Responsible for contract management, ensuring delivery dates are adhered to, supplier deliverables are on track and arrangements have been made as per the agreement.
7. Onboarding of new suppliers.
8. Report to internal management and stakeholders.
9. Manage any changes of supplier deliverables as required – change control, procurement actions etc.

Key requirements include:

1. Extensive experience in contract and claims and experience in leading a CCM Team in a large CapEx project.
2. Technical understanding for construction projects is a big advantage.
3. Commercial experience and background is beneficial and acceptable.
