We are looking for a new team member for our software testing and quality assurance team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our innovative solutions. We believe that quality assurance is the backbone of great technology - your expertise will help us maintain the highest standards as we build next-generation smart kiosks, leveraging automation, machine learning, and real-time monitoring.

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and automating test cases to ensure our software meets the highest quality standards. You will analyze test results, report bugs, and collaborate closely with developers to enhance system performance. Your role will also include setting up test environments, conducting regression testing, and tracking quality metrics to proactively improve our software development lifecycle.

Start: by arrangement / immediately

Tasks

  • Arranging test environments to execute the test cases.
  • Analyzing, writing and executing test cases, processes and scenarios.
  • Conducting review meetings, preparing summary reports and communicating with the software team.
  • Error tracking and bug reporting to developers and other team members.
  • Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Tracking quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Good exposure to manual and automation testing.

Requirements

  • This position is offered as a fixed-term contract to cover a leave, with an expected duration of one year, and the possibility of extension.
  • University degree in software engineering, IT or computer engineering.
  • Experienced in QA processes, methodologies, standards and strategies.
  • Proficient in automated testing framework (Cypress, TestNG, Robot Framework, Selenium etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of any programming language (preferable JavaScript, also accepted Java, Python etc.).
  • Handling of Jira for ticket management and Confluence for documentation.
  • Ideally: Docker, Git, CI/CD, API Testing (Postman), Agile Scrum.
