SAP EWM Functional Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Consultant. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of SAP experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically working with SAP EWM.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement, configure, and support SAP EWM in warehouse management and logistics projects.
2. Participate in all phases of SAP EWM projects, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and go-live.
3. Work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure that SAP EWM solutions meet business needs, especially in the automotive parts distribution industry.
4. Analyze and optimize warehouse processes, distribution, and inventory control using SAP EWM best practices.
5. Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot issues to ensure SAP EWM operates smoothly.
6. Train and mentor end-users on SAP EWM usage.
7. Collaborate with other consultants and technical teams to integrate SAP EWM with other SAP modules and external systems.
8. Develop technical and user documentation, including manuals, reports, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 8 years of SAP experience.
2. At least 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP EWM.
3. A proven track record of completing at least 3 full lifecycle implementations of SAP EWM, from blueprinting to go-live.
4. Strong knowledge of warehouse management, distribution, and inventory control processes, preferably in the automotive parts distribution sector.
5. Experience integrating SAP EWM with other SAP modules (WM, MM, SD, etc.).
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.

The role will require 3 days per week on site in Leverkusen.
