Join us in Duesseldorf and support us in our sustainability-related financial reporting, in various initiatives to exceed in mandatory and voluntary regulatory frameworks like TCFD and TNFD and collaborating with our organization to achieve relevant excellence.

As Manager in Sustainable Finance, you will sharpen and strengthen our sustainability disclosure in alignment with CSRD incl. EU Taxonomy towards our stakeholders as well as reports for sustainability measures and performance for internal stakeholders and the management. Further you will support a variety of initiatives to improve non-financial data quality, reporting processes and compliance with mandatory and voluntary regulatory frameworks like TCFD and TNFD.

Your roles and responsibilities:

  1. Act as a subject matter expert for the internal coordination of individual sustainability-related financial reporting activities
  2. Screen the regulatory market for upcoming disclosure trends and best-practices
  3. Support the further integration of sustainability-related financial requirements into organizational processes and reporting cycles
  4. Assist in managing the year-end sustainability reporting process with assurance providers incl. tracking of audit requests and status
  5. Assist in coordinating projects with external consultants
  6. Preparation of kick-offs, status calls and meetings for sustainable finance activities for internal and external stakeholders
  7. Analyze and identify internal improvement potential for data quality and reporting processes
  8. Collaborate with relevant functions and departments achieving internal as well as external reporting excellence

Your profile and qualifications:

  1. University Degree in business administration or economics (ideally Master's level).
  2. 2-3 years of professional experience in an audit assurance company
  3. Profound knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g. CSRD, EU Taxonomy)
  4. Analytical skills: You have an affinity for numbers, are confident in using Excel and other data analysis tools and understand how to translate non-financial data requirements into meaningful reports
  5. Proactive initiative and responsibility: You work in a structured, independent and reliable manner and show commitment to the realization of projects
  6. Profound project management skills, sound problem-solving skills, process-oriented thinking and assertiveness
  7. Strong communication skills: You can present results in an understandable and concise way and ideally have experience in creating presentations
  8. Fluently spoken and written German and English
