As part of the global HR Transformation and Operation Team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of HR Data Governance on a global level and actively contribute to the success of the digital transformation of HR. In your role as HR Data Lead, you will implement governance and quality guidelines for HR and drive the evidence and data-based decision-making of HR. You will closely partner with HR Business Managers, HR Operations, Global Functional Teams, as well as leaders from across the organization to understand business needs, prioritize capabilities, build a roadmap, coordinate the delivery of these capabilities, and then drive adoption of them.

Responsibilities

  • You will act as a central Subject Matter Expert for HR Data Governance, HR Data Quality, and HR Data flows in collaboration with an international team, which needs to be built for the ZEISS Group globally.
  • Execute the HR Data vision and strategy, in alignment with business priorities and stakeholder requirements.
  • Build up and implement an end-to-end data quality framework to continuously improve data quality and ensure all HR systems are in sync.
  • Establish Organizational Set Up and Guidelines for global HR Data Quality with internal and external resources.
  • Conduct first Data Quality Projects and coordinate new Data Projects and Initiatives within the newly established community.
  • Lead the HR function in creating and managing standards for acquisition, maintenance, transfer, and disposition of HR data to ensure data quality, resolve issues, and ensure designed data structures meet business needs.
  • Define and then work with HR, Functional Leads, and IT to implement and further develop the HR standard processes and controls to maintain data integrity across Workday globally.
  • Manage common methodology and tools for project management, data governance, modeling, testing, and solutions production.
  • Promote and monitor the consistent and correct use of People Data.

Your Profile

  • An excellent university degree in a business or tech-related program.
  • Over 2 years of experience in technical or functional Data Management/Governance.
  • Broad experience in using project management and communication channels.
  • Professional experience in the field of HR Management, HR Data.
  • Solution-oriented mindset.
  • High IT affinity.
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking.
  • Hands-on mentality.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
