Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership in Sourcing and Procurement.
• Continuously refine and implement the sourcing strategy in alignment with overall business objectives and commercial strategies.
• Establish procurement as a key value-driven partner within the organization.
• Lead a high-performance global procurement team, ensuring integration across end-to-end processes and collaboration with corporate functions.
• Identify and implement strategic initiatives for optimization, contributing to profitable growth.

Operational Excellence:

• Ensure seamless and efficient procurement processes, encompassing category and supplier management, forward sourcing, and supplier quality assurance.
• Manage a top-tier supplier portfolio focused on innovation, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Oversee budget management and achieve procurement targets through rigorous analysis of key performance indicators.
• Develop and execute category improvement plans, including cost negotiations and supplier development in line with internal standards.
• Drive supplier introductions, negotiations, tenders, and contract management to support business objectives.
• Implement strategies to optimize time-to-market, target costs, and material quality.
• Lead efforts in series procurement and material optimization, ensuring "zero-defect" deliveries from suppliers.
• Establish and maintain robust risk, escalation, and complaint management processes.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

• A degree in Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Over 10 years of senior experience in procurement or related fields, with a strong background in supplier management, sourcing, and procurement of both production and non-production materials.
• Proven ability to implement policies, manage improvement plans, and optimize procurement processes.
• International experience across the USA, Asia, and Europe is essential.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Familiarity with lean management, agile product development, and Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; German language skills are highly desirable.
• Strong commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• A collaborative team player with a determined approach to achieving goals.
