Mobile Development Lead – Medical Software (m/f/d)

To contribute to the development of sleep diagnostics based on artificial intelligence.

Location: Our office in Potsdam or Berlin combined with home office. Fully remote work possible.

Our medical apps help end users and sleep specialists in their diagnosis of sleep disorders and to optimize the patient journey for targeted and quick care. We revolutionize the patient journey and shape the future of sleep analysis to enable better sleep for millions of people. Our products are available in Germany and in the USA. Our technology is based on more than 10 years of interdisciplinary, scientific research. Diametos is a young company with a team of approx. 20 people, fostering a culture of flexibility, pragmatism, appreciation and trust.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead our growing mobile development team for our medical and wellness apps.
2. Coordinate the development processes from software requirements to release in close coordination with product management, R&D and quality assurance, ensuring adherence to FDA, MDD, and MDR regulatory standards.
3. Take responsibility for sprint planning and deadlines in close cooperation with our R&D team and program management.
4. Architect and develop hands-on with the team our React Native applications with a strong focus on performance, stability, and scalability.
5. Ensure documentation in line with regulatory requirements and company processes.
6. Oversee the setup and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Maestro E2E.
7. Oversee the In-App Purchases (IAP) functions, ensuring a seamless and secure user experience.
8. Maintain and manage Google Play and App Store setup and deployments, ensuring compliance with platform guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

1. A proven track record in leading mobile application development projects.
2. Extensive experience in React Native, Kotlin, and Swift, including React Native integration with native iOS and Android platforms.
3. Knowledge of Redux, RTQuery, and particularly Redux-Saga implementations.
4. Knowledge of background processing, scheduling, and system throttling to ensure reliable app behavior.
5. Experience in Audio Processing is a plus.
6. Experience in robust error tracking and user behavior monitoring using Sentry, Firebase and Mixpanel.
7. Fluent communication skills in English. German is a plus.
