Role Overview

As the CTO at mygrid, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technological direction and strategy. You start programming yourself but over time you will build a team of technology experts to develop innovative software solutions that enable the seamless integration of e-mobility and energy technologies. The CTO will be a visionary leader who can drive the technical roadmap, build scalable systems, and ensure the successful execution of our product development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Help to define and refine the company's vision and long-term strategy in general but in particular related to technology.
• Lead the development to design and implement cutting-edge software solutions that enhance e-mobility and energy management for our customers.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies making sure that mygrid is always one step ahead to everyone else.
• Collaborate with and manage technology partners in order to make sure all parties are on the same track and dependencies are kept as little as possible.
• Help in building and growing the company to reach its ambitious goals.
• Build a strong technology team that will be able to make a difference to the market.

Requirements

• Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Extensive experience in software development and architecture, with expertise in modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Strong interest to deep dive into e-mobility, energy management systems, and related technologies, including electric vehicles, smart grids, etc.
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, data analytics, and IoT platforms.
• Motivated in leading and scaling engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
• Strategic thinking and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions that drive innovation and competitiveness.
• Working mostly locally in the greater area of Zurich.
