MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Teach ESS in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and in the French Baccalaureate sections
• Leverage a variety of teaching approaches to deliver the curriculum, including ICT
• Act as a learning coach by setting objectives that motivate and challenge students
• Adapt teaching to the strengths and needs of all students, and to exam classes
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents about their children’s learning, achievements and progress
• Provide students with regular and constructive feedback, both orally and through accurate grading

PROFILE AND COMPETENCES :

• University degree in history, geography or economics
• Teaching qualification at graduate level or above
• Qualified IB ESS teacher
• Proven track record of excellence in teaching with at least five years’ experience, ideally in an international school environment
• Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and team spirit
• Bilingual French & English a must
• Clean criminal records
• Swiss / EU citizenship / valid Swiss work permit
