Findur Senior Business Analyst

As the premier supplier to our international banking client in Basel, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with Findur experience to undertake analysis of business processes and document business requirements for the implementation in Findur.

This is an initial contract running until the end of our client's financial year on 31 March 2026 with option to extend on a long term basis based on the project road maps, with start date ASAP (however they can wait for the right candidate).


Job description

This Findur Business Analyst will join a small and diverse team of experienced professionals and will undertake analysis of business processes and document business requirements for implementation in Findur. The project is moving into its 2nd wave, focusing on BCP recovery activities.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Analyse and design business processes around the trading applications.
  • Translate business requirements into business and technical specifications, employing best industry practice. Interact with the relevant design teams about translating requirements into detailed system specifications.
  • Advise and participate in the development of test plans for business applications and the execution thereof. Coordinate and support business area acceptance testing for financial messaging projects.
  • Interact with the other IT groups in the organization for systems design, integration, standards and change management.

Requirements

You will possess as many of the following skills as possible:

  • At least five years' business analyst experience supporting business applications in a banking environment - including experience planning and running workshops and meetings independently. Producing materials in support of requirements gathering.
  • In depth knowledge of Openlink Findur (experience with other systems such as Endur or Calypso also welcome) - good understanding of how the system functions.
  • Ability to analyse business needs, challenge and distil into accurate and concise requirements documentation.
  • Good knowledge of banking/central bank activities/general trade management flow and lifecycle.
  • Experience working on Business Continuity Plan activities nice to have.
  • Ability to plan and run workshops and meetings independently, also produce materials in support of requirements gathering.
  • Fluency in English.
