We have an exciting opportunity to work at Box Hill Institute as our Manager Assets & Sustainability. This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity based at our Box Hill Campus. This position reports directly to the Director Infrastructure, and sits within the Infrastructure work area of the Chief Operating Officer division.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of BHI's Asset Management and Sustainability strategies and embedding these strategies in the ways of working across BHI.
  • Responsible for the implementation and ongoing operation of the Enterprise Asset Management System (EAMS) across BHI.
  • Lead the Assets and Sustainability team, managing, supporting and mentoring employees within the team.
  • Work collaboratively across the whole Infrastructure team as well as other internal and external stakeholders, including contractors and consultants, to ensure quality outcomes are achieved.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Degree in Asset Management, Engineering or associated discipline and considerable experience in a similar role.
  • Certified Asset Manager via Asset Management Council or IPWEA.
  • Considerable experience in Asset Management including experience uplifting organisational capability and building strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain sustainable and productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Considerable experience in end-to-end project management including scoping, implementation, and transition to BAU.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a high performing team in achieving project outcomes and excellence in service delivery.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, ensuring projects are delivered in a timely manner.
  • High levels of initiative and proactive action.
