Hotel Sacher Vienna was opened in 1876 by Eduard Sacher, the son of the world-famous inventor of the Original Sacher-Torte.
It is the only privately owned luxury hotel in Vienna, located directly across from the State Opera, and has stood for over 140 years as a symbol of Viennese charm and contemporary luxury. This is reflected in each of the 152 rooms and our exclusive spa area.
Guests are also indulged with the finest culinary experiences. The hotel features two à la carte restaurants, the Rote Bar and Grüne Bar, both awarded two toques by Gault Millau. At Café Sacher, Café Bel Étage and Salon Sacher, guests are treated to Original Sacher products and delectable delicacies, while the Blaue Bar offers excellent drinks in a stylish setting.
Hotel Sacher Vienna successfully blends tradition with modernity, creating a unique atmosphere with the highest levels of comfort, impeccable service, and personalized care.
