Head of Commercial Property Management

Are you an experienced and dynamic property management leader with a passion for business development and risk management? Our client is looking for a hands-on Head of Commercial Property Management to lead and grow a brand-new property portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to shape the direction of the portfolio, work closely with key stakeholders, and drive growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage the commercial property portfolio, ensuring it is compliant with relevant legislation, and mitigating risk at all times.
• Business Development: Focus on expanding the portfolio by sourcing and onboarding new properties, forging strong relationships with landlords, and identifying new business opportunities.
• Tenant & Landlord Liaison: Act as the main point of contact between tenants and landlords, ensuring smooth communication, high levels of satisfaction, and resolving any issues efficiently.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and leasing teams to ensure the portfolio is strategically positioned and all properties are effectively marketed and leased.
• Risk & Compliance: Ensure that all properties in the portfolio meet health, safety, and legal requirements while proactively managing risk.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in commercial property management, with a strong understanding of legislation, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• A successful track record in business development and growing property portfolios.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with tenants, landlords, and internal teams.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills, able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
