Borealis is looking for a Group Expert in Maintenance Execution Efficiency (MEE). The purpose of this role is to provide top-tier expertise to support various locations, focusing on cost saving and efficiency improvements in maintenance processes.

In this role, you will develop strategies, ensure process definitions are followed and create and revise processes and procedures. You will also ensure adherence to these processes and procedures by collaborating with the locations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead the MEE area: Collaborate closely with other Discipline Experts, including members from Plant Availability & Turnarounds/Asset Management, to generate value and optimize solutions.
• Optimize and innovate: Provide input to the operations community, optimize maintenance processes, offer training for new solutions, share best practices, and drive digital solutions such as developing apps and cost estimation tools.
• Develop expertise and business opportunities: Act as a Category Owner for the MEE discipline, develop expertise throughout the life cycle of contractor partnerships, and identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Ensure efficiency: Achieve cost savings, streamline maintenance processes, create and revise procedures, and ensure efficient processes in SAP.
• Collaborate with contractors: Work closely with contractors to drive efficiency and innovate for better maintenance solutions.

About you

As a Group Expert MEE, you have a Polyolefins & Hydrocarbons Business understanding, profound knowledge in budgetary planning, and leadership experience. You have 10-15 years of experience in the petrochemical industry with exposure to driving cost-saving and efficiency programs in maintenance. You must have the ambition to be a proactive supporter in the locations. Your ability to manage projects effectively and influence your stakeholders will be key to your success in this role. Finally, you are fluent in verbal and written business-level English.

Your salary package will reflect your profile, experience and the specifics of the country/location you apply for.

Should you join us in one of our Austrian locations and according to Austrian law, we offer compensation based on the collective labor agreement starting at EUR 108.000 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) plus a yearly bonus, and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background.
