Project Lead or Architect

We are an award-winning architecture practice with a team of 8 in our design studio, and our own modular factory and construction company.

We are focused on houses of all scales in a variety of settings from spectacular coastal or hinterland sites to inner city and suburban projects across Queensland and New South Wales. We also collaborate with other leading architecture practices.

We are also working on boutique hotel and resort projects, multi-residential projects, artist and performance spaces, and social housing projects.

Role

The selected candidate will run their own projects, working closely with the practice director through all architectural phases, and will provide support to the design team as a senior architect.

Desired Experience and Skills

1. At least 4 years of local experience, preferably in high-end residential projects.
2. Strong proficiency in ArchiCAD with excellent 3D modelling capabilities.
3. Familiarity with Twinmotion, Photoshop, and InDesign (preferred).
4. Strong experience from concept to construction completion.
5. Proven ability to generate precise, high-quality drawings.
6. Solid construction knowledge, with on-site experience.
7. Comprehensive understanding of the NCC and Australian Standards.
8. Exceptional communication skills for effective coordination with team leads, clients, consultants, and contractors.
9. Capability to thrive both independently and in a collaborative team setting.
10. Solutions-focused, with an ability to navigate challenges effectively and collaboratively.
11. Possess strong emotional intelligence, demonstrating an aptitude for empathy, self-awareness, and effective interpersonal communication.
