Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Levico Terme (TN)

The Mechanical Design Engineer role contributes to the development of new products and customised systems, working either autonomously or within multi-purpose project teams, with the aim of satisfying the customer's needs, in accordance with predefined quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Independently design machines or parts thereof on the basis of functional specifications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of product development.

Activities

• Mechanical design of machines and functional groups via 2D and 3D CAD.
• Analysis and dimensioning (also via dedicated software).
• Research, selection, and possible integration study of mechanical and mechatronic components.
• Sharing of project specifications and objectives in multifunctional teams (electrical design line, software, and technologies).
• Deepening and improvement of design choices.

Must have

• Degree in mechanical/mechatronic engineering and 3 to 5 years' experience in the mechanical design of contract machinery and industrial plants, preferably CNC.
• Mastery in the use of 2D and 3D CAD.
• Good command of the English language (B1 or higher).
• Openness to discussion and dialogue.
• Problem-solving orientation, critical thinking, and capacity for innovation aimed at researching and testing technical solutions.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of 3D CAD software (Inventor, Solid Edge, Solidworks).
• Knowledge of FEM software (Ansys).
• Knowledge of automation and operating logics of CN/PLC machines.
• Expertise in fluidic design and drafting of pneumatic diagrams.
• Knowledge of 2D CAD software (Draftsight, Autocad).
