ITA Project Manager - Retail Fit Out /Project base

Our Client is offering an excellent project-based opportunity in "fit-out" project management with their retail Client in Bolzano, Italy.

PROJECT MANAGER – Retail Fit-Out / Project base

Location: Bolzano, Italy

THE JOB

• The Project: 3,500sqm retail flagship store fit-out management
• Project Duration: 15.02.2025 – 15.08.2025
• Defining and monitoring compliance with the local building regulations
• Obtaining LEED certification from the landlord
  • To send the certificates of materials to the Landlord
  • To maintain the discussion with the Landlord
  • Obtaining approvals
• Finding local contractors and suppliers and agreeing with them
• Local representation of the foreign Contractor
• Attend Client’s meetings (every 2 weeks)
• Obtaining the necessary permits from the authorities, including the permits for the opening
• Collecting the necessary documents from all 3rd party contractors
• All companies to manage:
  • MEP company
  • Landlord’s delegated companies
• On-site international (not Italian) project team of the Contractor to manage, which consists of:
  
  • Site manager with a permanent presence
  • Local & international labour force

THE PERSON

• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in design or fit-out project management
• A good understanding of commercial/retail/office fit-out projects
• A person who can easily adapt to different circumstances, changing environments, and is willing to work in an international team
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering
• A winning spirit, positive, confident, “can do” attitude, result-oriented, excellence in assertive communication and negotiation skills, determined, proactive, practical approach
• Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills
• Excellent English & Italian language skills; German is a big plus
