Field Service Engineer

Your role

• Maintenance and repairs on vacuum technology devices and systems at our customers' premises 24/7 on a weekly rotation for a maximum of two weeks per month.
• Preparation of service assignments with regards to necessary measures, tools and materials.
• Commissioning the devices and systems and carrying out operator training on site.
• Advising customers on the use and servicing of devices and systems.
• Careful documentation of all work carried out, materials used and working hours in the ERP system.
• Collaboration in the creation of customised service agreements.
• Support in the marketing of our services and products.

Your background

• Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d), electronics technician (m/f/d) or a comparable technical profession.
• Ideally, you have initial experience and enjoy working in customer service on technically sophisticated products.
• Ready to work in a clean room environment.
• Hands-on mentality and manual dexterity.
• English and Italian language skills are required.
• Independent and careful working style, initiative and willingness to learn are among your strengths.
• Strong communication skills, customer-orientation and an impeccable appearance round off your qualification profile.
• Willing to work on-call during nights or weekends as needed.
