Lead Cloud Engineer

To help us drive innovation and build functional systems that improve customer experience, we are looking for a Cloud DevOps Lead Engineer to reinforce our Cloud Solutions team.

Key responsibilities:

1. Design, build, and manage cloud architectures guaranteeing high availability, solid security, top performance, and reliability.
2. Be involved in engineering and applications operations.
3. Automate systems management, focusing on performance, scalability, and security, improving utilization and reducing toil.
4. Design cost-effective solutions and services ensuring that value is measured, tracked, and realized at the end of key delivery points.
5. Develop and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines for developer productivity increase.
6. Design and implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions, increasing systems visibility and enabling faster recovery from incidents.
7. Provide guidance and recommendations to increase efficiency and reduce customer incidents.
8. Develop tooling and processes to drive and improve teams and customer experience.
9. Work with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.
10. Support internal and external customers on multiple platforms.
11. Document products, processes, and tools with high quality.
12. Continuous improvement following the company’s internal education program.
13. Communicate well and effectively in client relationships, understanding our product portfolio and how to promote our offerings.

Requirements:

1. Knowledge of at least one public cloud offering: AWS, Azure, GCP.
2. Professional experience and a high-level understanding of Linux or Windows systems fundamentals and their implications.
3. Professional automation experience with at least one configuration/deployment management tool such as Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform.
4. Good expertise on container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
5. Experience integrating monitoring and alerting technologies, such as Datadog, New Relic, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor and Elastic Stack.
6. Experience of building, running, and improving CI/CD frameworks, tools, etc., and industrializing these into day-to-day operations.
7. Demonstrable understanding of security and networking principles in a cloud-native environment.
8. Experience working in an Agile fast-paced, DevOps environment.
9. Excellent problem-solving/analytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools.
10. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
11. Ability to provide outstanding customer service, be a good listener, work well with others, and be trusted by colleagues.
12. Fluent in English (French or German as a plus), and possess excellent verbal, written communication, and negotiation skills.
