NABA is currently seeking motivated individuals for the role of:

Head of Education Roma

The successful candidate will join our team in Rome and will report hierarchically to the School Director and functionally to the Dean based in Milan. The Head of Education will manage the programs portfolio of the school while guaranteeing quality and continuity to the standards of excellence required. He/she will assure quality in the academic processes and students’ experience.

The selected candidate will carry out the following activities:

1. Faculty Management, Planning and in-class experience.
2. Implement and assure the portfolio of the programs offered by the School while guaranteeing the update of course programs and contents in line with the requirements of NABA and the formal requirements of ministerial bodies.
3. Guarantee an excellent level of teaching to maximize students’ satisfaction and the quality indicators required.
4. Develop academic strategies in close collaboration with the Dean and the School Director.
5. Coordinate course leaders and strongly collaborate with them to make sure teachers go to class when required and avoid unnecessary classes cancellations.
6. Collaborate with the Office of academic coordination and the School Director to minimize costs for classes and optimize occupancy.
7. Select best faculty for the classes in collaboration with area leaders and course leaders.
8. Make sure the profs’ performance are always up to the required standards.
9. Guarantee the best academic experience in class for the students.
10. If necessary, inform the School Director and agree on the necessary actions to maximize students’ satisfaction.
11. Collaborate and support the enrollment team to achieve the assigned goals for the academic year.
12. Encourage the course leaders to collaborate with the office of career services to expand NABA company network.
13. In collaboration with the School Director might represent the School, in institutional events and during the meetings and debates with Associate Universities.
14. Define inputs for annual Academics budget and monitor monthly actuals.
15. Inform the School Director on the budget progression and support Finance Manager to analyse variances between actual and budget defining and implementing corrective and/or improvement measures.
16. Ensure the management of human resources under his/her responsibility, their professional growth and the development of their skills. Plan and organize their work and activities and assign new projects.
17. Approve holiday plans and leaves and play an active part in the selection of resources.
18. Ensure compliance with company policies, of the ethical code and procedures.
19. Actively support change management and innovation initiatives.
20. Ensure that all documentation is correctly updated and archived on an ongoing basis.

Requirements:

1. University degree in Education Management, Economics, Business Administration, Art and Design, or a related field. A Master’s or PhD in a relevant discipline is preferred.
2. Minimum of 8-9 years of relevant experience in a managerial position, with significant exposure to the education sector, preferably in a dynamic and international academic environment.
3. Proven experience in curriculum development, academic administration, and managing faculty teams.
4. Strong knowledge of modern teaching methodologies, and experience in leveraging educational technologies.
5. Demonstrated ability to navigate educational policies, standards, and accreditation processes.
6. Innovative, hands-on, market- and customer-oriented mindset.
7. Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal), assess and deploy talent efficiently, and manage work processes.
8. Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities.
9. Fluency in both Italian and English is required.
