Metocean Engineer

As a member of the Aventa Engineering team, the Metocean Engineer will collaborate with colleagues in different phases of projects, from feasibility to Basic/FEED and along the execution phase for several new upcoming or ongoing initiatives.

Our scope of services for Metocean Engineering includes:

1. Definition of Metocean Conditions for specific sites and/or sea transports (database or hindcast/modeling data)
2. Desktop/Feasibility Metocean Studies
3. Nearshore Metocean Criteria
4. Advanced Statistical Analyses
5. Wave/Hydrodynamics Modeling
6. Wave diffraction/agitation studies inside Port/Harbor
7. Tropical cyclones modeling and statistics

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Engineering or Physics degree.
2. Proficiency in Python and/or Matlab.
3. Fluency in English.
