JUNIOR CATEGORY BUYER food sector – COSTABISSARA

We are looking for a Junior Category Buyer enthusiastic and eager to grow professionally! This position is perfect for you if you want to start your career in the purchasing sector, with particular interest in the food industry and management of bucket category.

Main responsibilities:

• Support in purchasing management: You will assist in selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts and maintaining existing relationships, working closely with the senior team.
• Market monitoring: You will learn to identify new trends and opportunities, exploring innovative and advantageous supply sources.
• Development of procurement strategies: You will contribute to the optimization of product quality and cost management.
• Collaboration with the team: You will actively participate in ensuring an assortment appropriate to the company's needs, learning to communicate with other key departments.
• Category Performance Analysis: You will support the team in analyzing data, identifying strengths and suggesting improvements.
• Compliance: You will receive training on company regulations and policies, with a particular focus on quality and sustainability.

Requirements:

• Enthusiasm and desire to grow in the purchasing sector, even with little direct experience.
• Basic knowledge or interest in the dried meat or meat market and its dynamics is preferred.
• Negotiation skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills, or willingness to develop them.
