Senior Buyer - Indirect

The Senior Buyer - Indirect has a global vision of the markets and holds a strategic role by managing purchases (in economic, financial and supply chain aspects) with responsibility for the product competence categories and for all group plants. Collaborates with the Buyers of all group plants.

Main Activities:

• Is responsible for a purchasing budget for the assigned commodities to define and meet the assigned targets in economic and financial aspects.
• Is responsible for activities related to purchasing planning: scouting, commercial negotiation, continuous improvement of purchasing conditions to guarantee the company the best offers and compliance with delivery times. Primary activity for personally managed categories and shared activity with the buyers reporting to him/her.
• Is responsible for operational activities related to purchasing functions, the proper management and maintenance of data in the company management system. Primary activity for personally managed categories and activity shared with the buyers(s) reporting to him/her.
• Operates with production facilities, production planning, R&D team, for all aspects related to the supplier management under his/her responsibility.

Requirements of the position:

• Master’s degree in management engineering, Business Administration, Statistics or Supply Chain Management.
• At least 5 years of previous experience in the role.
• Good knowledge of Office, especially Excel.
• Good English language skills, both writing and speaking.
• Residence or domicile in the territory.
• Knowledge of plastic materials (preferable).
