The Finance Business Partner is an integral part of our Finance team based out of our Italy site.
Position Purpose:
This is a newly created position that will support the Phibro European Operations Center in the daily operations in Finance with global interactions including USA, Middle East & Asia. Phibro Europe is experiencing an exciting growth phase including the recent acquisition of a new business unit. This position will play a key role within our finance team in Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end to end supplier/receivable set up in compliance with SOX requirements.
- Complete treasury forecast.
- Lead the inventory reconciliation and issue the Corporate Month End Report.
- Perform the Intercompany transactions to completion and issue the Month End Report.
- Execute, as applicable, processes related to accounts payable and accounts receivable management, bookkeeping entries, closing the books monthly as well as preparing financial reporting and analysis.
- Submit the Finance Month End Report as: PPE Rollforward, Rent Month End information, Cash file situation, Corporate reporting requests.
- Administer finance dossier to support the local management.
- Support the implementation of Peppol (Digital Invoice system) in Italy and Belgium.
- Collaborate with our European Commercial teams through timely and effective communication.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Finance, Accounts or Administration Degree Qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with a multinational company.
• French/Italian and English languages are mandatory, any other additional language is an asset.
• Interested in working with small local team with a lot of interactions with Regional European & Global colleagues.
• Experience with ERP i.e. JD Edwards, SAP is an asset.
• Commitment to maintain the highest level of confidentiality while working with clients.
