Liquidity Management Intern– M/W

Responsibilities

SGSS has been present in Italy since September 2006 through a dedicated Italian Bank, SGSS S.p.A., one of the main players in the Securities Services' industry that covers all SGSS businesses for its two segments of clients: Financial Institutions & Brokers and Asset Managers & Insurance. Thanks to over 500 employees based in Milan and Turin, SGSS S.p.A. ensures daily support to over 300 clients. Our clients are institutional investors (insurance companies and pension funds), asset managers, and financial intermediaries (brokers, investment companies).

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Management of all liquidity flows of the Bank, ensuring the availability of funds in the payment systems
• Transmission of payments and liquidity transfers
• Monitoring and management of the bank’s accounts in Central Bank
• Daily investment of availabilities in Euro and other major currencies
• Monitoring of the financial risks (rate, change, and liquidity risks), putting in place the action needed in case of breach
• Negotiation of currencies with both clients and market counterparties

Profile required

Studies & experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Financial Studies/Engineering
• Prior experience in Financial Industry and/or accounting experience would be a valuable asset

Language skills:

• Italian – C2

• French - A1/A2
