As a Global Sales Manager for Traction Transformer / Rail Electrification, you will have the possibility to lead and drive the business and strategy for your OEM customers. This role requires a strong presence in the office and at our factory facilities, where you will collaborate closely with teams and OEM customers.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Operational Field Sales: You will be responsible for operational field sales and direct factory sales for OEM key accounts, working closely with factories on pricing and direct sales.
  • Customer Alignment: You will align with all Siemens Energy organizations (factories, regions etc.) on the customer approach and opportunities. You will check customer/end-customer requirements for portfolio information and derive possible scope of supply and services.
  • Strategy Implementation: You will develop and implement a strategy for your OEM customers to grow, diversify and expand the business, including the development of Go-to-Market concepts.
  • Growth Identification: You will identify OEMs for profitable growth, define OEM pipeline and budget for growth, and understand OEMs' needs and buying factors. You will negotiate frame agreements and sales contracts with customers, approach and acquire new Traction Transformer / Rail Electrification customers.
  • Sales Channel Management: You will manage sales channels and business models, conduct/participate in external fairs, and support by conducting roadshows, factory visits, technical workshops, and marketing support.
  • Market Trends: You will identify new market trends and collaborate closely with hubs and factories regarding price determination and strategy implementation.

What You Bring:

  • University Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business Administration or Business Engineering.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English, and advanced level in German.
  • Several years of global experience in sales, preferable in energy landscape or rail business. Additional expertise in Rolling Stock and / or Rail Electrification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and management skills.
  • Conceptual problem solver and strategic approach combined with a hands-on mentality.
  • Willingness to engage in-person at our office or factory facilities on a weekly basis as well as willing to travel up to 50% globally.
