Data Scientist (m/f/d) for our Controlling department

Permanent full-time position

Data Scientist (m/f/d) for our controlling department in Damp or regionally from home office

Your area of responsibility

  • Support and further development of database connections and interfaces to our internal systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, accounting)
  • Support and further development of data modeling: Collection, cleansing and preparation of data with ETL processes (e.g. with MS Fabric)
  • Ensuring data quality and integrity
  • Central point of contact for our IT and internal Controlling customers
  • Creation of dashboards and meaningful business management reports
  • Visualization and preparation of data using BI tools (including Power BI)
  • Automation of manual processes through the use of BI systems/software

What you bring with you

  • Completed training with an IT focus and/or a degree, ideally in (business) informatics
  • Ideally initial professional experience in the field of business intelligence and controlling
  • You have already had contact with BI systems/software, databases and data modeling
  • You enjoy working with data and processing it into meaningful analyses
  • You are familiar with Dax and SQL programming
  • You are characterized by independent work, decisiveness and "team play"
  • You like to take on responsibility and work in a results-oriented, structured and careful manner
  • You have a good command of MS Office products. Ideally, you have already gained experience with Power BI and MS Fabric

We in Controlling ensure transparency in business development, we support management in important decisions with our analyses and want to provide new management impetus for Dampsoft. To do this, we analyze a lot of data, create forecasts and use cost and performance accounting.
