To strengthen their team in Cuxhaven we are currently looking for a

Head of Quality Control (m/w/d)

Your responsibilities:

1. Management of the quality control department, budget, and personnel planning
2. Coaching and developing direct reports
3. Ensure the testing according to GMP/GLP-requirements
4. Monitoring, developing, and improving the quality system for quality control
5. Develop and drive a QC productivity agenda
6. Guarantee HSE at the lab
7. Strong partnership and communication with all site departments
8. Participation and support in Lead Team, site reviews, and business planning
9. Ensure qualified support during inspections

Your profile:

1. MSc in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Microbiology or comparable
2. PhD is desirable
3. Long-term professional experience and technical expertise in the pharmaceutical industry, in Quality Control or Quality Assurance
4. Multiple years of experience as a team leader or manager
5. Proven track record of managing budget and employment development
6. Strong expertise with global quality standards (EU GMP)
7. Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken
