Job Description:

This position is responsible for conducting technical audits of the organization’s operations and projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies & industry standards.

• Plan and scope audits to ensure effective coverage of risk areas & compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and execute audit programs ensuring thorough testing & evaluation of controls.
• Identify and assess risks developing audit procedures to mitigate risks & ensure compliance.
• Conduct audit fieldwork gathering evidence and documenting findings.
• Perform audit testing evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of controls.
• Identify and document audit findings including control weaknesses & areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present audit reports ensuring clear and concise communication of findings & recommendations.
• Develop and present audit findings to management ensuring effective communication & agreement on corrective actions.
• Monitor and follow up on audit recommendations ensuring effective implementation & closure.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management and compliance processes.
• Provide recommendations for improving risk management and compliance processes.
• Stay up to date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and audit methodologies.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders including management & audit committee members.
• Provide training and guidance to audit staff ensuring effective knowledge transfer & skills development.

Desired Candidate Profile:

At least a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Accounting, or a related field.

Minimum 6-7 years in auditing preferably in the transportation sector with 3-4 years GCC experience in a similar or equivalent role within a highly reputed company.
