Senior Software Development Specialist Oracle ERP
Roles & Responsibilities
Point of contact for production solutions developed on Oracle ERP.
Document code consistently throughout the development and/or enhancement process.
Maintain extensive documentation for the project.
Design solutions based upon business requirements and user specifications.
Review technical solutions.
Participate in peer code/design reviews to ensure the delivery of quality solutions.
Oversee the development team on a project when 3rd parties are involved in delivery.
Interface at an intermediate level with Business Users during the design, development, and testing processes.
Review, repair, enhance, and develop code.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent.
9+ years of experience in a similar role.
Relevant certifications related to software development and 6+ years of experience in Oracle R12 development.
Hands-on experience in Data Conversion, Data Migration, Report Generation, and Developing Interfaces within several modules in Oracle Applications.
Skills Required
Proficient in creating FSG, XML, and Discoverer reports; Forms, pages, alerts, and workflow development and maintenance.
Highly conversant with PLSQL and able to develop scripts and queries on an ad-hoc and regular basis.
Expert in Forms Personalization and OAF development and customization.
Proficient in the development of interfaces and conversion programs to integrate Oracle Applications modules to import data from various sources into Oracle Applications.
Strong in Performance Tuning.
Expert in UNIX shell scripting and Performance tuning for optimized results using tools like EXPLAIN PLAN, SQL TRACE, TKPROF, HINTS, STATSPACK.
Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to understand the long-term and short-term perspectives of requirements/situations.
Understanding of business process principles and tools.
Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
