Senior Manager – Legal & Finance

Our client is seeking for an experienced Senior Manager for Legal & Finance. Your role is to review and negotiate major contracts (that included technical contracts, aircraft purchase agreements, aircraft purchase and associated technical contracts, aircraft sale and leaseback agreements, and financing transactions). Ensures to drive strategies in line with work processes, company policies, and best practices to achieve high-quality performance in accordance with organization and department standards. Responsible and accountable to lead and manage a team of legal specialists.

Key accountability includes, but are not limited to:

• Develop and implement strategies, processes, and procedures in line with the business requirements to ensure that exposure to risk is mitigated and the company enters into contractual relations beneficial to it.
• Negotiating, drafting, and implementing a wide variety of complex, multiparty agreements, including mergers and acquisitions and strategic alliances.
• Oversee the contract process from receipt of the QCAS request until signature and distribution of the signed contract, including the preparation, review, negotiation, and approval of contractual documents and templates for activities related to aircraft and technical contracts.
• Establish the department or team's objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Be a qualified and admitted lawyer with a minimum of 10 years of job-related experience.
• To have a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in aircraft purchase and associated technical contracts and aircraft sale, leaseback, loan contracts/agreements, and financing transactions.
• Experience at executive management level.
• Must have demonstrated experience and a track record of successfully negotiating complex, high-profile, and high-value contracts with specific reference to the aforementioned types.
• Strong background in finance, technical, and understanding how aircraft engines work.
• Experience with MRO agreements, Ground Handling agreements, Fleet Management.
• Ideally from a Manufacturing background.

Compensation:

• 34,000-40,000 QAR per month (depending on experience).
• Company Accommodation or an Allowance.
