Qatar Airways is looking for a Senior Learning Excellence and Quality Specialist to join our Group Learning and Development (GL&D) team. In this role, you will co-design and execute the implementation of learning culture at QR through GL&D’s learning offering, platforms, tools and resources.
In addition, you will be responsible for implementing change management within GL&D in support of QR learning culture, as well as implementing continuous improvement processes, systems and frameworks at GL&D and QRG learning units from the perspective of delivery, design, and application digital learning solutions while embedding the use of GL&D’s educational platforms.
As part of this role you will also:
- Manage and deliver the Learning Excellence and Accreditation Program for professional development across QRG
- Implement and monitor the continuous improvement model within GL&D that promotes consistency and quality in the delivery and design of GL&D learning solutions through the TESS (Trainer Evaluation and Support System), instructional design ADDIE and AGILE frameworks and other GL&D metrics
- Apply the technical and change management aspect of the process to measure the effectiveness of GL&D’s learning solutions at a participant, manager, department and corporate level (Level 1-4)
- Drive the TESS program end to end within GL&D, conduct required analysis, present results and implement required changes
- Support the implementation of TESS in other training units to achieve consistency in training delivery across QRG
- Deliver the entire suite of QR Group trainer development programs through the LEAP for informal, formal and experienced trainers
- Manage the LEAP Partner pool and all its associated tasks including the upskilling, coaching, mentoring and auditing of LEAP trainers
- Implement the LEAP program continuous improvement initiative based on L1-3 feedback and TESS outcomes
- Act as a performance consultant for learning designs, solutions focused on workplace performance and L&D best practices for QRG Learning units
- Design and manage implementation the internal audit process for GL&D training solutions
- Implement at GL&D CSOD connect module to embed social learning at QR and subsequently to QRG
- Act as a quality entity for all GL&D and QR Group learning solutions.
- Design and deliver learning solutions for GL&D staff upskilling or reskilling in the areas of, but not limited to, delivery, design and other technical competencies
- Mentor specialists within Learning Excellence and Quality team to implement the department strategy.

About You
A successful candidate should possess the following experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Administration / Corporate Learning & Development / Human Resources / Education / Educational or Organizational Psychology, with Minimum 6 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree without prior experience for Qatari Nationals
- Excellent command of English language
- Train the Trainer Certification by a world-renowned institution with a minimum of 5 years of experience in facilitation and delivery of learning interventions and workshops
- Experience in instructional design, and analysis of data, correlations and trends
- Expertise in measurement and evaluation of learning solutions
- Technical acumen in Learning Technologies and LMS implementation
- Excellent training and facilitation skills and ability to motivate and inspire trainers from across the business to build organizational performance
- Critical attitude towards supporting Learning Quality and process adherence
- Extensive Data reporting and analysis skills
- Ability to mentor junior trainers to deliver Quality programs
- Aviation business acumen
- Professional knowledge of the MS Office tools.
Preferred qualifications (Not essential but good to have)
- Master’s Degree from a recognized university in Adult Education and/or quality-related field
- Auditor experience
