Senior IT Business Partner - SAP FICO

Job Summary

Serves as the strategic interface with assigned business unit or functional area for solution discovery, service management, and relationship management. Serves as the business relationship link between Business Units and IT.

Job Responsibilities

• Processes Business analysis and value-based re-engineering of processes SME and first point of contact in IT for their respective assigned business units on business solutions related queries.
• Leads, designs, implements, and evaluates ERP and other peripheral solutions that facilitate the assigned department business processes.
• Project planning and co-ordination, change management and project risk management.
• Supports the business users with issues as SME for the assigned business units.
• Ensures compliance to policies and procedures of IT department.
• Implements ERP system, trainings & support.
• Performs business process re-engineering, GAP analysis and workarounds.
• Understands business problems and opportunities in the context of company’s requirements and recommending solutions to enable organizations to achieve goals and improve business processes.
• Provides expertise and address L2/L3 support in the assigned business function for ERP systems.
• Provides L1 technical support during implementations and support.
• Conducts UAT, obtains sign-offs and prepares go-live plans for all systems implementations.
• Monitors support issues resolutions as per the agreed timelines and SLA.
• Prepares reports as required by senior management and circulates with stakeholders.
• Provides/extracts information/analytics from ERP Systems for management on need basis.
• Identifies/incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans.
• Conducts the need assessment and assists group companies in developing and deploying best business strategies.
• Initializes the projects, reviewing quality control, system implementation control and documentation.
• Liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Ensures policies and procedures are being followed.

Job Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of implementation of ERP and conjoined vertical specialized systems.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture.
• Knowledge of industry best practices.
• Knowledge of finance and accounting laws and regulations, where applicable.
• Knowledge of Construction, projects, FMCG industries related processes, as per assigned business unit.
• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Professional degree in Certifications in Tier-1 ERP systems from Microsoft or SAP.
