Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic Pre Sales Engineer to join our team and drive sales for our Fire Fighting Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and offering technical solutions related to fire safety systems. The Pre Sales Engineer will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the firefighting systems market.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, consultants, and industry stakeholders.
  • Generate sales leads and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
  • Provide product demonstrations, presentations, and technical consultations to potential customers.
  • Technical Expertise & Solutions:
  • Offer expert guidance on fire protection solutions, including fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, sprinklers, and related equipment.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions based on their needs.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards (e.g., NFPA, EN, local fire safety standards).
  • Customer Support & Project Coordination:
  • Provide pre-sales technical support and post-sales follow-up to ensure seamless system installation and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other internal teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery of firefighting systems.
  • Market Insights & Reporting:
  • Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in the fire safety domain.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management regarding opportunities and performance.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Fire Safety, Electrical, or related field).
  • Experience: Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Sales Engineer, Business Development Engineer, or in a similar sales role in the fire protection or safety industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of firefighting systems, including sprinklers, fire alarms, suppression systems, and fire extinguishers.
  • Strong understanding of fire safety regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to clients.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proven achievements in target sales for the last 3 years.
