Marketing and Sales Coordinator
Full-time | Reports to: Head of Marketing and Admissions
Sherborne Qatar is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Marketing and Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This full-time role sits at the intersection of sales and marketing, with a primary focus on converting prospective enquiries into applications while supporting the execution of the school’s broader marketing strategy.
The ideal candidate will be a persuasive, people-oriented communicator, capable of building strong relationships with prospective parents and guiding them through the admissions journey with professionalism, empathy, and warmth.
Equally important is a flair for digital storytelling, capturing meaningful moments from school life through video and photography and translating them into engaging content across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Admissions (approx. 70%)
- Follow up with leads generated through marketing activities and convert them into applications via phone, WhatsApp, email, and in-person communication.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, ensuring all interactions are properly tracked and categorised.
- Re-engage dormant leads and route them through nurturing or retargeting workflows.
- Coordinate closely with front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless transition from enquiry to school visit.
- Participate in team meetings, contribute to FAQs and messaging improvements, and share insights to refine the overall marketing and admissions process.
Marketing Execution (approx. 30%)
- Support the planning and coordination of school events, including Open Days, parent tours, and community initiatives.
- Assist with the production of school publications such as the Shirburnian, Welcome Packs, Candidate Briefs, and Executive Team bios.
- Ensure brand consistency and quality across all materials, coordinating with design, content, and print vendors.
- Help implement the annual marketing strategy and ensure marketing materials, the website, and other brand touchpoints are regularly reviewed and updated.
- Track marketing budgets, performance dashboards, and team tasks to ensure effective execution.
Social Media and Digital Content
- Work with the marketing team to plan and manage social media content calendars, draft social media captions and support digital campaigns.
- Capture candid photos and short-form videos of events, school life, and pupil achievements.
- Liaise with the photographer, videographer, and external digital agency to deliver timely and engaging content.
- Use basic photo/video editing tools to prepare content for digital platforms.
Reporting and Insights
- Support the Head of Marketing and Admissions in compiling reports on campaign effectiveness, conversion performance, and engagement metrics.
- Track leads and monitor parent interactions using the CRM and other data tools.
- Flag common trends or issues that can inform content planning and marketing strategy.
Person Specification
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a marketing role preferably in a school or service-oriented environment.
- Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and channels.
- Highly personable and persuasive, with strong relationship-building skills.
- Experience in content planning or social media management.
- Basic skills in photography, videography, and editing.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of British curriculum schools.
