Maintenance Wireline Technician - QATAR

Role Summary:
As a WLS AMO Mechanic General, you will have to be able to complete special assigned projects. You will work in a thriving workshop environment overseeing the delivery of solutions to our global customer base. You will take responsibility for mechanical maintenance ensuring quality and completion. You will contribute to the success of a large team that plays an integral part in our business. You will provide technical support across the business whilst complying with HSE policies.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Maintaining assigned trucks, ships, and related surface cabin equipment in accordance with operating specifications.
• Responsible for routinely welding, painting, and refurbishing equipment.
• Conducting mechanical inspections and may use moderately complex diagnostic equipment.
• Reviewing procedures for assembly, disassembly, and test verification accuracy.
• Configuring test stations and systems.
• Facilitating third-party repair of equipment when required.
• Analyzing and interpreting data from environmental tests and troubleshooting equipment problems.
• Maintaining records and scheduling maintenance of equipment.
• Providing supervision, mentorship, and leadership of technicians in the absence of the supervisor/manager.
• Maintaining equipment records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance program as inspection and disposition of parts and equipment.

Qualifications Requirements:

• Electro-Mechanics Technician Diploma or similar with 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas field.
• Experience with Wireline downhole equipment (or Logging Units/Skid in the case of Mechanic position), from one or more of the main Oil & Gas service providers.
• Hands-on work on all equipment related required for all positions, not supervisory positions.
• Fit to travel to offshore rigs to support on-site (if required, not on a routine basis).

• Good electrical and mechanical knowledge in Wireline Oil field business.
• Analytical ability to find solutions to difficult technical problems.
