Head Nurse Inpatient

The Nurse provides medical care / assistance to employees by treating illness, injuries and health problems and at the same time encourage them to participate in health programs designed to promote healthy lifestyle. This position also assists, supports the doctor to drive occupational health surveys on a regular or daily basis.

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide medical care / assistance to employees by treating illness, injuries and health problems and at the same time encourage them to participate in health programs designed to promote healthy lifestyle.
2. Coordinate any work-related injuries / illnesses to the safety officer for immediate investigation and corrective action.
3. Assist the doctor in the administration of medical services in the medical aid clinic on a daily basis.
4. Administer first aid and basic life-saving measures when the need arises.
5. Ensure to eradicate communicable diseases and all kinds of illnesses by enforcing safety and health preventive programs at all times.
6. Coordinate with the relevant HSE personnel to keep them always updated on all injuries / illnesses without time delays.
7. Manage to strictly impose the standard operating procedure in the medical clinic as imposed by the medical doctor.
8. Consult with the doctor for any decision concerning delicate conditions in order to administer proper intervention when the need arises.
9. Follow the routinely scheduled program implemented by the medical doctor.
10. Ensure to follow the schedule / assignment given by the doctor to guarantee medical service on all medical cases on a daily basis.
11. Assist employees in obtaining health cards when needed.
12. Ensure that proper recording of all information in the medical report is observed on a daily basis.

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, College Level in QCHP (Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners)
