Receivables Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Receivables Analyst to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage accounts receivable balances to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
• Analyze customer payment trends and identify potential risks or issues.
• Prepare and distribute regular reports on receivables status and collection efforts.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Accounts, Cashiers, and divisional administrators for any issues relating to invoices.
• Assist in the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures.
• Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support on bounced check collection.

Knowledge & Experience

• Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
• Collection Management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
