Job Description

ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar is seeking a dedicated and professional Collection Agent to join our dynamic team in Qatar. As a Collection Agent, you will play a crucial role in managing and recovering outstanding debts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. Your primary responsibility will be to communicate effectively with customers, negotiate payment plans, and resolve any issues related to overdue accounts. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication skills.

1. Responsible for resolving overdue bills and collecting payments.
2. Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to identify their outstanding debts.
3. Keeping track of assigned accounts to outstanding debts.
4. Negotiate payment plans and settlements in accordance with company policies.
5. Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions with customers.
6. Locating and contacting debtors to inquire about their payment status.
7. Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer disputes and discrepancies.
8. Monitor payment schedules and follow up on overdue accounts.
9. Continuously review and assess outstanding accounts, identifying patterns of non-payment and prioritizing accounts based on the level of risk.
10. Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the appropriate department or higher-level management for further assistance.
11. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
12. Prepare reports on collection activities and progress.

Required Profile

We are looking for candidates who are proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong negotiation skills. The ideal candidate should have a professional demeanor and the ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.

1. 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role within the service industry is preferred.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Proficient in using computer systems and software related to collections.
6. Native in Arabic; knowledge of English is an advantage.
7. High level of integrity and confidentiality.
