As an Account Manager, you play a vital part in Canon's innovative business sales team. You will be responsible for bringing in new Business to Business (B2B) clients and driving business and revenue growth by increasing sales of Canon core products and exploiting Office Imaging & Solutions opportunities.
By regularly engaging with new potential customers, you will serve as the relationship lead to the client and as the internal advocate for the client at Canon Qatar. You are responsible for understanding each client’s unique environment, business needs, technology vision, and internal motivations. Using this knowledge and your technical background, you will seek ways to fulfill clients’ needs and grow each client’s annual revenue, striving to ensure client satisfaction and retention while maximizing the awareness of the brand within the Qatar market.
You are a doer and get your sales energy through “hunting” new opportunities. You can be described as independent (with a lot of initiative) and solution-driven, focusing on big deals and loving to move from one to the next as soon as you close your current prospect.

- Generating top-quality prospects from small to mid-size (medium or large enterprise) new businesses across Qatar and managing a very active pipeline with short or long sale cycles.
- Establishing strong business contacts/relationships with leads, including data gathering and leading the customer on their journey to becoming a customer.
- Acquire and close new business deals through cold calling and prospecting. Sell through tele-sales, face-to-face sales, and sales presentations to prospective customers.
- Identify qualified prospects and navigate company structures to identify decision-makers. Proactively seek new avenues to penetrate clients and attract prospects.
- Applying consultative sales skills required to assist in explaining product benefits and features, overcoming objections, and closing sales.
- Drive customer engagements, meetings, develop opportunities, and other skilled assets to position, propose, and close deals.
- Deliver face-to-face and/or online presentations and proposals.
- Track and analyze market/industry trends and identify new business while maintaining extensive knowledge of the current market.
- Maintain an active pipeline report through Salesforce, logging all activities.
- Communicate with clients/customers to understand their needs and explain product value.
- Use product knowledge to build trust, value, and influence with the customer(s).
- Quote prices and rates as needed to close the deal.
- Meet or exceed sales goals and expectations. Responsible for growing sales revenue.
- Success in this role is measured by meeting daily and weekly lead generation goals while consistently staying ahead of daily metrics in a team-focused environment.
- Guarantee a seamless onboarding process where you introduce the Account Manager and the rest of the team to the client and establish regular communication going forward.
What We Ask
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
- B2B Account Management background is preferred, with a minimum of 5+ years of sales professional experience.
- Knowledge of SFDC is a plus.
- Proven lead generation and cold calling (telephone or face-to-face) experience.
- Outstanding lead generation, sales, business development, and negotiation skills.
- Social media skills (LinkedIn, Networking, etc.).
- Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills (written & verbal).
- Valid Qatar driving license and car (Must).
- Fluency in Written/Spoken English and Arabic (Must).
- Valid Qatar Residency with transferable iqama.
