Assembly Maintenance Wireline Engineer- QATAR

Role Summary:

To be responsible for all resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Contributes to the development of an operational year plan for own department activities of the team. Discusses consequences of changes in products and processes for the own team in the organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Field services training related activities for both employees and customers, including delivering product, system and process trainings and providing ongoing support to ensure the standard and quality of field service execution.
2. Works together with people from the business unit.
3. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information.
4. Handles simple project processes. There are detailed guidelines for production and/or simple human interfaces requiring little technical knowledge. A framework of conditions is set.
5. Handles targeted clients.
6. Contracts are predefined, and a framework of conditions is set and followed.

Qualifications Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering with 5 years of experience.
• Experience with Wireline downhole Equipment (or Logging Units/Skid in the case of Mechanic position), of one or more of the main Oil & Gas Service Providers.
• Hands-on work on all equipment related required for all positions, not supervisory positions.
• Fit to travel to offshore rigs to support on site (if required not as routine basis).
