We are seeking an accomplished Chief Accountant to lead our finance team and drive strategic decision-making through expert financial analysis and planning.

We are seeking an accomplished Chief Accountant to lead our finance team and drive strategic decision-making through expert financial analysis and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
2. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards.
3. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
4. Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
5. Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
6. Manage cash flow, monitor cash positions, and ensure the company meets its financial obligations.
7. Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
8. Analyze financial data and prepare reports to present to senior management, highlighting key insights and trends.
9. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and oversee tax reporting and planning.
10. Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and drive financial performance.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.

Minimum 8 years of working experience, with at least 5 years of relevant experience and 2 years in the GCC region preferred. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification are required.
