ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES:
As Revenue Manager (M/F), you will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for:

1. Analysis of daily and weekly pickup and making the necessary adjustments to the strategy to maximize income.
2. Conducting competitive analysis and researching new market trends.
3. Preparation of monthly forecasts of room revenue and other revenues, by market segment, for the next 6 months.
4. Maintenance of the demand calendar to identify trends and seasons.
5. Monthly maintenance of the corporate forecast template for its correct loading into the central financial systems.
6. Carrying out production analysis by room type and management of supplements for higher categories to maximize occupancy and ARR.
7. Carrying out displacement analysis and price suggestion for group business, in accordance with the established strategy.
8. Continuous evaluation of the need for promotional actions and/or discounts and their subsequent monitoring according to need.
9. Annual preparation of FIT rates by season and room type.
10. Annual preparation of golf packages, both for direct clients and tour operations.
11. Coordination of the loading of hotel-specific rates with central departments and ensuring that the segmentation and reservation process in the system is correct.
12. Evaluate the production of the different agents: OTAs, tour operators, own channels, etc. and propose improvements to maximize income per season.
13. Ensure parity in all channels, reporting disparities to central offices for resolution.
14. Management and maintenance of inventory controls to maximize income.
15. Prepare the budget in the income part, by market segment and month for presentation to management and corporate management.
16. Supervise the reservations department, ensuring follow-up of procedures.
17. Maintaining contact with Market Managers of strategic accounts to identify areas of improvement and business opportunities.

Qualifications

WE LOOK FOR CANDIDATES WITH:

1. Experience in same position at least 3-5 years in a position in the luxury sector.
2. Degree level - preferably in Tourism, Business Studies, Economics, Business Admin.
3. Experience using software and Rev Management tools; Duetto, siteminder, OTAinsight and ReviewPro.
4. Advanced Excel skills.
5. Fluent spoken and written English.
6. This position will be based in the Hotel in Vilamoura.
7. Organized and methodical.
8. Highly quantitative analytical skills.
9. Strategic thinking and mindset.
10. Commercial sense.
11. Strong influencing and communication skills.
