PYTHON SOLUTION ARCHITECT (REMOTE)

Position: PYTHON SOLUTION ARCHITECT (REMOTE IN PORTUGAL)

Location: Portugal

Working Model: 100% remote (based in Portugal), with occasional travel to Dubai/Saudi Arabia.

Experience Level: Senior (6+ years)

As a Solution Architect, you should have proficiency in Python and:

1. Strong expertise in application development, including programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
2. The ability to design scalable and reliable solutions, along with in-depth knowledge of relevant technologies.
3. Expertise in integration, database management, security, and compliance.
4. Experience in optimizing application performance, cloud computing, and implementing DevOps and CI/CD practices.
5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, effective communication and collaboration abilities, and a solid understanding of business objectives to drive success in this role.

Tasks:

• Design the high-level architecture of software or system solutions, defining the technical stack, integration points, and data flows.
• Select appropriate design patterns and architectural styles (e.g., microservices, event-driven) based on project requirements and constraints.
• Research and recommend the most suitable technologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring the architecture meets both functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, scalability, security).
• Provide mentorship and guidance to development teams, ensuring alignment with the architectural vision.
• Oversee code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote best practices to maintain code quality and consistency.
• Continuously monitor performance metrics, propose optimizations, and ensure scalability as demand increases.
• Produce comprehensive architecture documentation (e.g., Technical Architecture Document, Architecture Requirements Document).
• Effectively communicate architectural decisions, trade-offs, and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Scope of Work / Services

During the term of this SOW, will provide engineering personnel to the Client to assist in building the environments.

Availability

Available within two to four weeks, with flexibility for travel to Dubai/Saudi Arabia.

Seniority

Minimum of 6 years of experience.

Languages & Soft Skills

• Proficient in English (B2 level or higher).
• Team-oriented mindset and flexibility to collaborate with consultants across different time zones.
