Tasks
- Coordinate the resolution of Major Network Incidents, acting as a key point of contact between internal teams and external service providers.
- Monitor the performance of LAN and WLAN services, ensuring availability, quality, and timely issue resolution.
- Support the implementation and governance of ITIL processes for Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
- Work closely with global vendors and telecom providers (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Microsoft, Zscaler, Broadcom, Accenture, AT&T, Verizon, Deutsche Telekom) to track progress, escalate issues, and follow up on actions.
- Assist in the application of SIAM (Service Integration and Management) practices to ensure effective collaboration among multiple suppliers.
- Contribute to service reporting by collecting operational data and generating reports on KPIs and SLAs.
- Support risk identification, capacity planning, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers in network upgrades, changes, and new service deployments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in network operations, service coordination, or similar roles in a multi-vendor environment.
- Strong knowledge of LAN, WLAN, and enterprise connectivity services.
- Familiarity with ITIL and SIAM frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with network solutions and tools from Cisco, Juniper, Microsoft, Zscaler, Broadcom, etc.
- Experience coordinating with telecom and managed service providers (e.g., AT&T, Verizon, Deutsche Telekom).
- Preferred certifications: ITIL Foundation, Six Sigma, PMP or equivalent.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese (spoken and written).
- Must be located in Portugal for remote work eligibility.
