Cloud Governance Engineer

• Deliver products and services to enable effective Identity and Access Management throughout Operations
• Enforce compliance with IAM principals including least, privilege access, password management, MFA, RBAC, certificate issuance and renewal
• Develop, deploy and support password management, user account lifecycle, certificate management and system authentication solutions within the cloud
• Engage with and influence the many stakeholders and teams to ensure compliance, security and operational functional requirements are met or exceeded in the migration to the cloud
• Create and implement automated processes that reduce manual efforts and increase overall efficiency and scalability
• Improve the efficiency and scalability of operational systems and processes to accommodate rapid cloud adoption
• Provide collaboration between development, infrastructure and cyber security teams.
• Provide instruction on best practices to teams that are advancing their cloud experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience and proficiency with Python programming and development of API
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar
• 3+ years current cloud experience with EC2, VPC, S3/GCS, IAM, and AWS/GCP CLI
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels
• Experience establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with a wide variety of business groups (Development, Product, Network Engineering, Voice Engineer, Security, etc.)
• Experience with Terraform and CloudFormation; understanding of performance, redundancy and cost monitoring in the cloud
• Experience with CI/CD
• Understanding of AWS and/or GCP
• Organizational problem solver willing to come up with creative solutions
• Experience supporting critical services

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Kubernetes best practices
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
• Experience with Okta integration
• Result-oriented, self-starter
• AWS certified
• GCP certified
