Responsibilities

1. Requirement Analysis and Mapping: Engage with manufacturing and supply chain business users to understand and document their requirements.
2. Map these requirements to the SAP MM or PP modules to provide high-level estimates of man-days and costs.
3. Project Management: Plan and manage SAP-related projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
4. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, managing expectations and providing regular updates on project status.
5. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
6. Implementation Oversight: Guide and supervise the vendor or internal team responsible for implementing the SAP solutions.
7. Ensure that the implementation aligns with the documented requirements and business objectives.
8. Conduct regular reviews and provide feedback to ensure quality and alignment with business needs.
9. Multiple Activities Management: Handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing and managing time effectively.
10. Flexibility to switch between consultancy and project management roles as needed.

Ideal Candidate Profile

1. Experience: At least 5-10 years of hands-on experience with SAP MM and/or PP modules.
2. Certifications: Relevant SAP certifications in MM or PP, and possibly PMP or other project management certifications.
3. Education: A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
4. Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
