Job Purpose

We are looking for a Project Trainee for the Environment, Health & Safety team based at Karachi, West Wharf. The project trainee will work under supervision of the Site EHS Lead and collaborate with other functions of industry of GSK to support and organize tasks assigned which drive performance.

Education, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical) is required
  • 0-1 Year of experience is required.
  • Proficient in use of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
  • Strong written and spoken fluency in English.
  • A keen interest in the business of pharmaceutical products and how the industry helps patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the Annual EHS Plan.
  • Quickly learn the EHS Standards and engage with key stakeholders to drive performance.
  • Take part in supporting the team for EHS Audits.
  • Conduct Gap Assessment of standards and support in implementation of gaps.
  • Engage cross-functionally with colleagues to collect insights and drive actions.
  • Participate in team meetings to receive knowledge about, track actions and monitor progress.
